2016 OFA Tournament Armoury Workshop
Interested in becoming a Regional Armourer? Not only helping with big tournaments and helping with small ones, but actually being trained on how to do them well?
Learn from the OFA Armoury Committee how to prepare for a tournament, set up for a tournament, run equipment control, on-strip trouble shooting, and efficient and proper teardown among other things.
a. Club Technician certified; or
b. through demonstrated experience equivalent to Club Technician. If you would like to submit your experience for review, please email either Pat Morrow (email@example.com) or Robert Rundle (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Please note that to become fully certified as a Regional Armourer one must complete a practicum at a later date. The next available event to complete a practicum is at the Eastern Nationals at the University of Toronto from Friday April 29th to Sunday May 1st, 2016.
Date: Saturday April 23, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Location: Athletics Centre - University of Toronto (55 Harbord Street, Toronto, ON M5S 2W6, Room: Benson 302
Facilitators: Pat Morrow and Robert Rundle (OFA Armoury Commission members)
Please read and be familiar the FIE Material and Technical rule books prior to the clinic. If possible, bring a copy of these rule books with you. Spaces are limited and on first come - first serve basis so register early.
